Delete your Fax Booth account and data

Fax Booth is made by Solomon Dev Studio LLC. You don't need an account to use it; signing in with Google is optional. Here's how to delete your account, or the data we hold, with or without the app.

In the app

• Your account: open Settings, then Your account, and tap "Delete account." We forget your Google sign-in and email straight away. Your credits, fax number and faxes stay on the phone, as they were before you signed in.

Without the app

Email solomon@solomondevstudio.com with the subject "Delete my Fax Booth data." Send it from the email you signed in with, or include your recovery code from the app's About screen, so we can find your records. You don't need to install the app again. We'll answer within 30 days.

What gets deleted, and when

• Your sign-in (the sign-in ID and email from Firebase Authentication): at once when you delete the account in the app, from our records and from Firebase Authentication, or within 30 days of an emailed request.
• Pages, fax files and receipts: already deleted within about 24 hours of each fax's result. Faxes you received are deleted 7 days after your rented number ends.
• Names, notes and phone numbers from cover pages: deleted with the fax.

What we keep

• The record of credits and purchases, and the fax carrier's delivery record, because they are the proof of what was paid for. They're tied to the app's anonymous ID, not to your email.
• Standard server logs, like the IP address and time of a request, for a limited time, to keep the service running and safe.
