Storage Bouncer works on your phone. Your photos, videos, files, contacts and app list never leave it. There's no account, no ads and no analytics. The app sends one thing off the phone, and only if you buy Pro for life while you still have the yearly plan: the two Google Play purchase codes, so your yearly plan can be stopped. That's explained under Google Play below.
Only with your permission, and only on the phone:
Your choices (what you kept and what's in your basket), the space you got back, your settings and, during a free trial, its end date for the reminder. All of it stays inside the app on your phone, and uninstalling Storage Bouncer removes it. It doesn't keep copies of your photos or anything about what's in them.
Photos and videos are removed only through Android's own confirmation, and wait in Android's Trash for 30 days. Files are removed after Storage Bouncer's own confirmation, and apps through Android's uninstall screen. Storage Bouncer can't tell whether a photo is backed up, so check your backup before emptying Trash.
Video shrink makes a new, smaller copy on your phone, in Movies/Storage Bouncer. Nothing is uploaded, and your original stays until you remove it.
If you start a free trial and allow notifications, Storage Bouncer reminds you two days before Google Play's first charge. The reminder is made on the phone.
Bouncer Pro is a yearly plan or a one-time lifetime purchase, both handled by Google Play. We never see your card or your Google account. Google's billing library talks to Google, and Google's own privacy policy covers that.
If you buy Pro for life while your yearly plan is still set to renew, Storage Bouncer sends the two purchase codes Google Play gave the app to our server (on Google Cloud). The server checks with Google that the lifetime purchase is paid and tells Google to stop the yearly plan from renewing. The year you already paid for isn't refunded. The server keeps nothing: no codes, no account, no record of you. That is the only thing the app ever sends to us.
